staff retreat 2015

the last two days were about learning, growing. we spent time away from the office, loving each other, praying, eating, being competitive in a good way. we're not perfect, but these are the people that feel safe and bring me joy.

mentor.

This man is so important to me. He is kind and loving, wise. He speaks truth into my life. He prays for me. He is available when I am in distress. He demonstrates boundaries and the freedom they provide. He asks how I am, hears and listens. He pushes me to be better, challenges me to make the wise choices. He is supportive. He lives out godliness and strong character. I am very thankful for him and I needed to put that somewhere.

over two years ago Brittany and I did a shoot with our friend Carrie (who unfortunately couldn't join us for this shoot) called Spring. The goal was to be intentionally creative, to explore a styled shoot. This was the next (and very delayed) step in this series. I tried my hand at digital with this shoot.
