changing like autumn.

fall came quickly this year. in a split second I was surrounded by earth tones and crisp mornings. frosted breath hinted of the bitter cold that was to come. I changed with the same rapidity of the leaves. and sometimes I felt as if I too had fallen from the highest branch.

the end of summer.

this was the test roll for a camera I found on free day. I couldn't afford to develop this film until now, after the snow has come and winter has gripped us once more. these are the from the end of summer, before the move. even in the short time since these were taken I have changed. 

'sometimes the changes we experience are less tangible and therefore feel less real.'

autumn.

these were some shots from an autumn adventure with Spencer. It was good to drive around and see different parts of this city in the fall. and I loved how peaceful it was. I'm trying to remember that seasons don't bring joy, but that doesn't mean you can't enjoy them.

my roommate and his fiancée got engaged in August. they asked me and a friend to do an engagement shoot with them. I was really excited to do it but I shot film and it got too dark for my camera fairly quickly and so a lot of shots were blurry. I was disappointed. but these shots turned out okay and I love the people in them so much.
